Joining Jack is a charity that has been set up to find a cure
for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, the condition Jack Johnson suffers
from.
The JJ salute is a linked finger gesture which represents
- The two J's in Joining Jack and Jack Johnson
- A sense of unity that supporters of Joining Jack feel, together
we'll raise the money to fund this treatment and find a cure.
The JJ Salute was first previewed as a try celebration by Rugby
League players. At magic weekend try scorers set aside their club
rivalries and all linked their fingers for Jack.
Since the end of May the JJ Salute has been seen in many sports
and embraced by many supporters of Joining Jack.
