HW Moon Toyota Run Wigan Festival '23 raises £30,000

Our biggest event since 2018, doubled last year's total raising an awesome £30,000!

We had more than 2,500 runners taking part in the Half Marathon, 5k and Family Mile races — our biggest numbers since 2018 — and hundreds of supporters at our Event HQ at Mesnes Park.

An incredible £30,000 — thank you to all our fabulous runners, supporters, fundraisers, volunteers, sponsors and event partners! Despite the odd downpour (or three) we had fantastic numbers on the day.

Sunday's event also saw an incredible NEW RACE RECORD for our men's HM winner, Tom Charles from Chorlton Runners, who knocked just over a minute off the previous best in a stunning time of 1h 09m 40s.
