Our Events
A huge part of our fundraising is generated by our four flagship events, The Run Wigan Festival, The Wigan Bike Ride, The Wigan 10k and the JJ Legends team’s participation in the Emirates Dubai Rugby 7s.
More than £200,000 has been raised annually across these events, before the disruption of the global pandemic, and we are hugely grateful to the thousands of competitors and supporters who make this possible.
Wigan 10k
The original flagship fundraising event celebrated 13 years in 2025, including a Virtual 10k in COVID hit 2020.
Run Wigan Festival
Our first event is the Run Wigan Festival taking place in March and featuring four fantastic races – a Half Marathon, a 10 Miler, a 5k and a Family Mile Race.
Wigan Bike Ride
The Wigan Bike Ride was launched in 2017 as our first ever standalone cycling event to get Wigan on Wheels.
Dubai 7s
A team of Joining Jack Legends from the worlds of both codes of rugby have been heading to Dubai to take part in the Emirates Dubai Rugby 7s since 2012.
